The Sound Blaster X5, the first Sound Blaster to feature dual DACs, employs Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs with a high dynamic range of 130dB DNR and a low total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) of 0.00018%, providing up to 32bit/384kHz PCM high-resolution audio and DSD256 lossless audio playback.
It also features two award-winning full-discrete XAMP headphone bi-amplifiers, employing a full-balanced design that completely separates the left and right channels and the ± signals of each channel throughout the amplification process from AB-class operation to output. Creative's advanced audio engineering and design technology utilizes a dual DAC and XAMP configuration to effectively eliminate circuit interference, noise, and crosstalk.
